Discover the Invalides, emblematic Parisian monument and walk idly on the Esplanade lawns.
Near the hotel, it is one of the most beautiful domes ever constructed in France with its openwork turret rising 107 meters in height. Later re-gilded in 1989 for the bicentennial anniversary of the Revolution, the building contains Emperor Napoleon’s tomb.
Venture off and visit the Invalides and you will find Louis XIV’s hospital as well as Napoléon’s tomb. Explore and discover a major edifice from France’s History. Mounted by the tallest dome of Paris, the military hospital is home also to an Army Museum and a military necropolis.
To-do list: Organize a picnic on the esplanade along the Seine followed by pleasant stroll on the lawn and the alleys lined with lime blossoms.
